Both the Labour and Conservative parties are failing businesses across the country – and our economy.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn never talks about business, nor does he seek to encourage job creation - and even the Tory party seems unable to articulate the business sector’s absolutely critical role in our country’s success or failure.
Both Corbyn and Theresa May have their critics and supporters but neither seem able to sufficiently inspire and champion the entrepreneurs who create jobs and ultimately fund our hospitals and schools.
The truth is that an expanding or profitable business sector is the ONLY way to sustain increases in funding for all the things that make this country great.
Politicians can argue all day about how wealth should be split. The real trick, the first priority, is generating as much wealth as possible. The only real way to increase overall wealth is to see companies prosper, hire more people and make more profits.
Put simply, there is no prosperity without successful businesses, hard work and ambition.
Businesses create jobs and that’s what creates the wealth our hospitals, schools and services rely on.
Both Labour and the Tories must focus much harder on creating an environment for businesses to thrive.
